What is a Partner Agent?
We are Hortons, the East Midlands' fastest growing estate agency, and we're currently building our team of Partner Agents across the region. A Partner Agent is a Hortons business partner, responsible for building a business in a set territory, and in return receive an industry leading renumeration package and be part an ambitious company with plenty of opportunity for career progression and personal development. We make managing the business straight forward and highly efficient so you can focus on your clients and selling properties.
As a Partner Agent, you will have complete freedom to manage your time and rate of growth. You’ll be responsible for building your business in your territory and developing your reputation, and the reputation of Hortons.
Your earning potential is truly uncapped. Whether you want better work-life balance and manage a smaller territory, or go for massive growth and earnings - we’re here to support you. All Partner Agents have an OTE of at least £50,000 per year, but could earn up to £150,000+.
You’ll be given all of the tools you need and you can focus on the important things - selling houses, meeting customers and business development. We work tirelessly to create the best back office systems and processes to support our Partner Agents, enabling you to work as efficiently as possible and avoid the administration that is required in traditional agency.
Your earning potential is uncapped, but are some examples of what you could earn as a Partner Agent. You will benefit from multiple income streams, and the potential to earn passive recurring income.
Year 1 - £50,000 // Year 2 - £75,000 // Year 3 - £120,000
What we provide

Upon joing Hortons, you will benefit from a 2 week induction that will provide you with all of the skills require to be a successful Partner Agent. But we don't stop there - we want to develop a world-class team - you will learn from some of the best in the business in social media marketing, negotiation, sales, photography and much more.
The best software and equipment
We provide everything you need to run your business, from your laptop, phone, advertising and marketing tools, to full access to our amazing software package. Our software is designed around providing the best possible customer experience, whilst also offering maximum efficiency for our Partner Agents.
A local hub office
You will be within easy reach of a local 'hub' office. This is where your office team is based and your assigned 'property PA'. They are your back up when you're not available. They get to know your clients, stock and area. They help generate new business and help you deliver a first class service to your clients, from start to finish. A team you can rely on.
Back office and administration support
We provide full back office administration support so you can focus on doing what you do best and provide an amazing service for your clients. Less admin, more selling.
Responsibilities of a Partner Agent
You will have a dedicated territory defined by a set of postcodes, in which you will be responsible for the market share and reputation of yourself and Hortons. A Partner Agent will also need to:
- Help support our clients and buyers, ensuring they receive the a first-class service from start to finish
- Provide honest valuations and carefully considered marketing advice
- Be a Hortons brand ambassador at all times
What do we look for?
- Someone who genuinely loves serving customers and goes the extra mile
- An entrepreneurial spirit and a strong desire to be successful
- Sound knowledge of your local property market
- At least 3 years experience in valuation at either Branch Manager or Senior Valuer level
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly organised
- The ability to easily adopt new technologies and software with ease
- Driving license and access to own car
